Two previous conferences on similar topics were held in 2017 and 2019. More than 50 university teachers, postgraduates, undergraduates and students from Belarus, China, Russia and Ukraine took part in the current conference. Among them are Professors A.N. Kremnev (Irkutsk State University), Professor Yu.A. Shepel (Dnepropetrovsk National University).

Speaking with reports and messages in online and offline formats, the conference participants analyzed Slavic-Chinese ethno-linguistic parallels, considered the East Slavic and Chinese languages from the point of view of reflecting in them the traditional culture and the basic spiritual and moral values of the Eastern Slavs and Chinese. An important place in the speeches was occupied by the questions of the methodology of teaching Chinese to the Russian-speaking audience.

At the end of the conference, the winners of the creative works contest "China: History and Modernity" announced by the Confucius Institute were awarded in various categories: drawings, handmade crafts, video and audio materials in Chinese.
