On April 10, 2024, the Faculty of Law hosted meetings of second and third year students with Nikita Alexandrovich Kolokolov, Head of the Department of Judicial and Prosecutorial Investigative Activities of the A.S. Griboyedov Moscow University, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Education of the Moscow Pedagogical State University, Doctor of Law, Professor.

The topics for discussion were two problematic fields – the insignificance of crimes and the issues of reviewing the final procedural decisions of the court.

It is worth noting that Nikita Alexandrovich is not only one of the leading legal scholars, but also a strong practitioner with experience in the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.

The meeting was full of examples of resolving real cases in courts of various instances. Students and teachers listened to the lecturer's classes with interest and received answers to their questions.

Meetings with representatives of science from our eastern neighbor have long been a good tradition at the Faculty of Law of our university.
