Representatives of Hindustan College of Science and Technology (Farah, India) – Professor Vinod Kumar Kushwaha and Master’s degree student of the Faculty of  physics Rohan Sagar visited Francisk Skorina Gomel State University to conduct research work at the Institute of physics and chemistry of GSU.

Within the frames of the agreement of Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research the Indian and Belarusian scholars develop methods of formation and study the electrophysical properties of nanocomposite layers based on polymer materials.

During the two years of work on the project, the parties have achieved significant results. Thus, Indian physicists proposed new compositions and methods for the formation of thin nanocomposite layers from solutions. The scientists of GSU successfully synthesized coatings using a solutionless vacuum plasma-chemical method (from the active gas phase, etc.).

In addition to scientific work, physicists from India gave lectures for students of the Faculty of Physics and Information technologies. This is the third joint project of GSU with the Indian partner. Like the previous ones, it is implemented through the BRFFR line.
