Last week the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Culture of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University took part in a number of international events. Employees, students, Master’s degree students and postgraduate students presented their reports at the XI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Education and Health" with Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko (Sumy, Ukraine),the II International Scientific and Practical Conference "Sport and Sports Medicine" (Chaykovsky, Russia), the III All-Russia scientific and practical conference with international participants "Actual issues of physical and adapted physical education in the education system" (Volgograd, Russia).
The parties actively discussed topical problems of sports training, issues of health-preserving educational process in educational institutions, medico-biological and psychological-pedagogical aspects of physical education of children and youth, the use of art therapy technologies in the educational process, as well as issues of health-improving and adapted physical culture. In addition, the participants expressed their hope for further fruitful and promising cooperation between educational institutions.
