October 17, Francisk Skorina Gomel State University was visited by the Head of the International Department of Ajinkiya University D.Y. Patil, Professor, Dr. Vijayakumar Varadarajan (Pune, India). A representative of the Indian partner University met with Rector Sergei Khakhomov, and also visited the Faculty of Economics of our university. During the visit, the main areas of cooperation between the two universities were identified: academic exchange of students and teachers, organization of online lecture cycles, joint scientific conferences and joint scientific research.

On October 9, the rector of the University Sergei Khakhomov met with students from China. During the meeting, issues related to the organization of the educational process, holding sports and cultural events with the participation of foreign students, living in university dormitories were raised.

Last week, an information meeting was held with students from the PRC majoring in Psychology and Social Pedagogy studying at the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy of our university within the framework of the pilot project "Implementation of the model of integration of educational programs of higher education (Republic of Belarus) with the educational program of non-university higher education (PRC) in a shortened period (2023-2026)" since August 2023. The faculty administration took part in the meeting.

The defense of master's theses in English took place at the Faculty of Economics. Undergraduates – citizens from the People's Republic of China – have successfully completed training in the specialty "Accounting, analysis and audit".

On June 15, a delegation from Beijing Sports University headed by First Vice-Rector Xia Lunhao visited our university.

First Vice-Rector Andrei Kruk met with Chinese partners. During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the field of physical culture and sports, educational and scientific activities were discussed. The delegation visited the Faculty of Physical Education, the research laboratory of Olympic Sports, the Museum of Sports Glory of Gomel region, and also got acquainted with the sports facilities of Gomel.

The dynamic development of Belarusian-Chinese relations directly affects the expansion of interuniversity cooperation between the countries.

From June 10 to June 12, delegation of the Nanjing University of Science and Technology headed by Rector Fu Menin visited GSU on a working visit.

During the visit, the colleagues agreed on further plans for the development of a joint International Belarusian-Chinese scientific laboratory on vacuum-plasma technologies and the Confucius Institute at Francisk Skorina Gomel State University.

On May 28, the Regional Centralized Library held the fifth Regional Book Festival #ReadGomel, dedicated to the book tradition and book culture, famous Belarusian writers and their readers, as well as libraries and their tireless library workers.

A working visit of a delegation of 5 institutions of higher education of Belarus to the People's Republic of China is taking place from May 19 to 26. The delegation includes Rector of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University Sergei Khakhomov and Head of the International Affairs Office Alexander Grakhotsky.

On May 26, an online meeting was held between representatives of the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University and the leadership of Jiangsu Pedagogical University.
