The Department of Intercultural Communications and International Tourism of the Faculty of History and Intercultural Communications invites high school students from Gomel and Gomel region to the English-language professionally oriented event "The Day of Eastern Cultures" due to be held on January 5, 2023 at F.Skorina Gomel State University.
Foreign students of the preparatory department were looking forward with impatience and some curiosity to new textbooks on Russian as a foreign language, which arrived safely at the university on the eve of the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia.
Gifts to the Institute of Additional Training were prepared and delivered by the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Gomel, which is a branch of the representative office of Roscooperation in the Republic of Belarus. Dictionaries, sets of textbooks and manuals in the amount of 107 units were donated.

As the Rector of GSU Sergei Khakhomov noted, the Eurasian Association of Universities is an authoritative and influential international organization. Participation in the work of the association will allow the university to expand cooperation with leading universities of the Eurasian space and increase the prestige of the university in the international arena.
In the conference hall of the Francisk Skaryna Gomel State University, a meeting of representatives of the university administration with students took place.
In particular, the rector of the university, Sergey Khakhomov, focused on many issues, including refurbishing classrooms, replacing furniture and equipment, improving the position of the university in the international rankings, and also announced the continuation of the construction of a tennis court and a basketball court with artificial turf.

At the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University held regular defense of master's theses by citizens of the People's Republic of China. This is the first ten foreign masters who received master's degrees in 2023. More than 50 citizens of China, Turkmenistan, Nigeria, Russia, and other countries have been trained in English-language and Russian-language master's degree programs at the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy in 2022.
Today, Francisk Skorina Gomel State University received a delegation of foreign guests from China and India. The delegation includes: Director of the recruiting company “Chinai Consulting (Dalian) Co.,Ltd” (China) Qi Ji, manager of the recruiting company “Medico Abroad Consultants” (India) Vinukonda Raja Ram, Secretary of the admissions committee of the Shijiazhuang Medical College (China) Liu Jiwei. The main purpose of arriving at the university is to discuss the issues of inviting citizens of China and India to study at Francisk Skorina Gomel State University.
