Today, the rector of the university, Sergey Khakhomov, awarded Bachelor's diplomas to 52 graduates from among the citizens of the People's Republic of China. The students studied at the Gomel State University under the experimental project "Implementation of the Model of Integration of the Educational Program and Higher Education Degree (Republic of Belarus) with the Educational Program of Non-University Higher Education (PRC) in a shortened timeframe."
As part of the cooperation agreement between the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University and Heze University (Heze, China), faculty members from the Department of Physics and Information Technologies, Yanina Kosenok, Ekaterina Kulesh, and Konstantin Babich, undertook an internship at Heze University.

On September 30th, a Leisure Center at the Confucius Institute was ceremoniously inaugurated in the hall on the third floor of the fifth building of the university.
